Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has officially unveiled The Plaza – a landmark open-air events and entertainment space, inviting the city to connect, gather and tap into the energy of Uptown Dubai’s most dynamic new destination.
Spanning 21,000 square metres, The Plaza is designed as a flexible, purpose-built platform where live events, culture and community converge. As a mixed-use public space which can accommodate up to 4,000 guests, The Plaza has been developed as a place where community, creativity and culture intersect – transforming Uptown Dubai into a vibrant day-to-night destination for residents, visitors and the wider city.
Overlooking the JLT skyline, The Plaza is centrally located and features a sculptural open-air stage, a 43-metre HD screen, expansive green lawns and layered terraces. The space is designed to host a diverse programme, from live performances and cultural moments to community gatherings, markets and large-scale seasonal events.
Designed as a fully turnkey destination, The Plaza provides ample parking, easy access and a prime New Dubai location at the centre of Uptown’s growing mix of dining, hospitality and social venues. Set within Dubai’s emerging business and lifestyle district, the Plaza offers a venue designed for shared experiences that bring the city together. The space is also available for private event hires.
DMCC has appointed 7 Management as the strategic operator of The Plaza, bringing the space to life through a vibrant, year-round calendar of experiences. Known for creating some of the region’s most celebrated lifestyle and entertainment destinations, 7 Management will curate a dynamic programme that reflects Dubai’s ever-evolving cultural energy.

The launch of The Plaza comes as Uptown Dubai continues to take shape as a mixed-use destination – already home to Uptown Tower, The Atrium and SO/ Uptown Dubai Hotel & Residences. Looking ahead, the evolution of Uptown Dubai continues, with additional commercial and residential projects currently under construction. Once complete, these developments will further reinforce the district’s position as a thriving hub for work, living, and leisure.
Ramadan at The Plaza
During the month of Ramadan, this iconic space will be reimagined as Moonlight Market, a month-long evening market experience designed to activate The Plaza and bring communities together after sunset. Each night, The Plaza transforms into a contemporary market atmosphere that blends design, culture, food, and live entertainment. Moonlight Market offers a relaxed, social environment where residents and visitors can gather, explore, dine, and enjoy a curated mix of food trucks, retail kiosks, family-friendly activities, light art installations, live mural painting, open-air cinema under the stars, and other immersive experiences.
